Qatar Railways Firm (Qatar Rail) launched a sequence of initiatives on Wednesday to have a good time World Tourism Day, encouraging guests to reap the benefits of the seamless journey expertise and world-class providers supplied by the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram networks. This world celebration happens yearly on September 27.

The metro and tram stations are strategically positioned in key areas of Doha and Lusail to serve densely populated areas, main hubs, and fashionable vacationer sights. By connecting a variety of vacationer locations, enterprise facilities, and hospitality services throughout Qatar, these networks facilitate varied tourism occasions, together with sports activities, wellness, leisure, and MICE (Conferences, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism.

In collaboration with Stopover Tourism, a vacation spot administration firm specializing in guided excursions, Qatar Rail launched its inaugural excursions on the Doha Metro in anticipation of World Tourism Day. These specifically curated experiences cater to guests and layover passengers in Doha, with skilled guides showcasing town’s key sights.

The primary tour commenced at Msheireb Station, passing by the Nationwide Museum and Souq Waqif stations. It supplied members with a wealthy expertise that highlighted Qatar’s cultural and tourism heritage.

Moreover, Qatar Rail introduced a partnership with Hamad Worldwide Airport (HIA) to supply Complimentary Day Passes to guests. This three-day initiative, beginning Thursday, goals to encourage vacationers to discover the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram, making it straightforward to journey between varied vacationer locations.

In coordination with Qatar Tourism, Qatar Rail will collectively promote occasions and actions all through the nation that may be accessed through the metro and tram networks. The metro will even be promoted as the popular mode of transportation for guests throughout their keep in Doha by varied platforms supplied by Qatar Tourism.
