A brand new rail service connecting the United Arab Emirates and Oman is about to start operations following a preliminary settlement between Noatum Logistics, a subsidiary of AD Ports Group, and Hafeet Rail, the developer and operator of the area’s first cross-border railway community.

The deal, signed throughout the International Rail 2025 exhibition in Abu Dhabi, establishes a every day freight service between Sohar and Abu Dhabi. Noatum Logistics will function seven container trains per week, every able to carrying 276 TEUs, translating to an annual capability of about 193,200 TEUs.

The devoted trains will accommodate 20-foot, 40-foot, and 45-foot containers, facilitating the motion of a variety of products — together with manufactured merchandise, meals gadgets, prescription drugs, agrifoods, and different important provides between the 2 Gulf nations.
