Abu Dhabi, Oct 25: In a landmark step towards regional connectivity and sustainable logistics, Noatum Logistics, a part of the AD Ports Group, has signed a preliminary settlement with Hafeet Rail, the developer of the primary cross-border railway community between the UAE and Oman, to launch a devoted rail freight service connecting Abu Dhabi and Sohar.

The deal, signed in the course of the World Rail 2025 exhibition in Abu Dhabi, will see Noatum Logistics function a day by day freight service utilizing Hafeet Rail’s upcoming cross-border community — marking the first-ever direct rail hyperlink between the 2 Gulf neighbours.
