Transportation Minister meets UK Rail Minister

London, Nov. 25 (BNA): Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, met with Lord Peter Hendy, Minister of State for Rail on the Division for Transport of the UK.

The assembly mentioned cooperation on railway tasks, the event of recent transport methods, and future methods to reinforce the Kingdom of Bahrain’s transport infrastructure and enhance service high quality.

Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed emphasised the longstanding ties between Bahrain and the UK, notably in superior transportation and infrastructure growth, and highlighted the significance of increasing bilateral strategic partnerships in sustainable transport by way of information change and greatest practices.

Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed additionally signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and each the UK Division for Enterprise and Commerce and the Division for Transport.
