Telecommunications Minister meets Qatari Transport Minister

Doha, Feb. 26 (BNA): Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, met with Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, Minister of Transport of the State of Qatar.

Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed emphasised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s dedication to enhancing its historic ties and strategic partnership with Qatar. He highlighted the significance of increasing cooperation in land, sea, and air transport, in addition to logistics providers, to serve frequent pursuits beneath the management of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of Qatar.

Each ministers mentioned alternatives for collaboration in transport infrastructure growth, logistics, and funding, together with technical and experience change. Additionally they reviewed financial integration efforts inside the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to help regional development and prosperity.

Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah emphasised Qatar’s dedication to additional creating cooperation with Bahrain in transport, logistics, ports, and civil aviation. He underlined the significance of those sectors in advancing sustainable growth and accelerating financial integration inside the GCC.

Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed and his delegation performed discipline visits to key Qatari transport and logistics entities. These included Hamad Port, Qatar Ports Administration Firm (Mwani Qatar), Mowasalat (Karwa), and Qatar Rail, the place they reviewed developments in land transport, railways, and maritime navigation.
