Stage set for third edition of Qatar Rail Open Chess

The Qatar Chess Affiliation (QCA) has introduced particulars of the third version of Qatar Rail Open Chess Championship 2025, organized in cooperation with Qatar Rail. The event coincides with World Chess Day, which falls on July 20 yearly.

The preliminary rounds will start tomorrow, Thursday, on the Qatar Chess Coaching Middle, with the participation of 100 gamers. The competitors shall be held in a nine-round blitz format to find out the gamers who will advance to the ultimate stage.
