KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14: Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan has highlighted the significance of sustainable logistics providers as a key focus of Kuwait’s Nationwide Technique for 2035, noting the nation’s dedication to the growth of regional and world logistics, experiences Al-Seyassah every day. Talking on the ministerial assembly of the World Logistics Discussion board 2024, held beneath the theme “Redrawing the Map of World Logistics Companies” in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Al-Mashaan emphasised Kuwait’s efforts in advancing sustainable railway tasks. Kuwait is actively engaged on railway linkage tasks, together with the GCC practice undertaking and a railway connecting Kuwait to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, she stated.
Dr. Al-Mashaan additionally mentioned native initiatives, similar to increasing land transport routes to northern Kuwait, particularly to Mubarak Port, underscoring the strategic integration of seaports with railways to enhance logistics effectivity and assist land transport. She emphasised that the variety of transport strategies requires environment friendly administration, highlighting the rising position of synthetic intelligence in optimizing transportation routes and enhancing logistics providers. The discussion board, held from October 12 to 14, was inaugurated by Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Transport and Logistics, Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser and featured participation from over 130 audio system, 80 exhibitors, and representatives from 30 international locations.
