Etihad Rail begins UAE high-speed rail prequalification

Contractors are additionally forming joint ventures to bid for upcoming design-and-build works packages for the high-speed rail line undertaking.

MEED completely reported on the development plans for the UAE’s high-speed railway (HSR) community in early September. The design pace of the trains operating on the community will probably be 350 kilometres an hour (km/h) and the working pace will probably be 320km/h.

The proposed HSR programme will probably be constructed in 4 phases, steadily including extra connectivity to different areas throughout the UAE.
