SAUDI ARABIA: Nationwide operator Saudi Arabia Railways has chosen Swiss design consultancy Nostril Design Expertise to help the event of its next-generation of inter-city trainsets.
In February 2024 SAR awarded Stadler contracts value SFr600m to produce and preserve 10 trainsets to be used on the East line linking Riyadh with Dammam, with choices for 10 extra.
Nostril can be liable for the entire inside and exterior design, collaborating with engineers at Stadler’s Bussnang plant to satisfy the technical requirements and constraints.
